John Fund spills the usual amount of bile in today's WSJ editorial, questioning the will of the "hard-left wing of the Democratic party," and noting that "Mr. Lieberman's campaign is showing signs of renewed vigor." Heh.
Far more entertaining than that, though, is his conclusion: that "if next week, political commentators wake up and find... [that] Mr. Lieberman has overcome the vitriolic onslaught of the liberal bloggers, they will have to acknowledge, that reports of the death of the moderate wing of the Democratic Party have been greatly exaggerated."
The vitriolic onslaught of the liberal bloggers...hmmmm. As a resident and registered voter in Connecticut, I had to pen the following reply (and I post it here, only because I'm reasonably sure the WSJ won't let a rebuttal see the light of day)...
