Ok. So we need to keep the message positive. I get that. It's hard, however, to be positive about the economy today. Black Monday it's already been called. Should be a wild ride for the old 401K today!
Accentuating the positive. Well, since Reagan's election in 1980 there has been one president who has been fiscally responsible--Bill Clinton. That's right, the "tax and spend" liberal brought us financial prosperity and jobs, along with a budget surpluss. Reagan, Bush, Bush, and now potentially McCain are all "fiscal conservatives" who believe in deregulation and "trickle down" economics. What has that brought to the American citizen? Job loses and budget deficits, each one out-doing the predecessor.
Definition of insanity: Repeating the same thing over and over, hoping for a different result. "Fiscally conservative" republicans are by definition insane. We need to get this message across. No more repeating the same thing over and over again, hoping for a different result. Let's go back to the process that works--electing a grown-up to the White House. Hope cures insanity. Choose not stupidity or "insamity".
