One bit of news that I haven't seen covered properly and/or placed in context in our media is that, thanks to Bush's enlightened policies, a full international trade war is now brewing with our European partners:
The World Trade Organisation has given the go-ahead for the European Union to introduce sanctions against the US. Its judgement in favour of the EU is in regard to America's failure to repeal an 88 year old law that allows US firms to sue low price importers.

Also see two other BBC articles on the Poultry War:
EU suspends US poultry imports and, what I presume is a tit-for-tat retaliation, US stops import of French meats.
I'm sure there is rights and wrongs on both side, but isn't that yet ANOTHER MISERABLE FAILURE of our so-called pro-trade President?
I know one thing for sure: this is going to hurt jobs.
Bush delenda est.
