“This is what freedom smells like,” attorney Rob Corry told the crowd, as he counted down the moments until 4:20pm CT, at which point literally thousands of people simultaneously exhaled marijuana smoke into the air, creating a haze that was visible for blocks away.
The report spoke of the reality that cannabis is still illegal under the Federal law that costs taxpayers an estimated $20 billion a year to maintain. Here's a link-

The cost of maintaining a taxpayer funded prohibition plus the potential gain in revenue could easily add up to $40 billion a year. Prohibition didn't work for alcohol for the very same reasons.
