Tipped off by a tweet from Tampa Bay Times reporter Alex Leary, I had to share this piece of completely disgraceful information with you.
As many of you know, Alex Sink is a Democrat running for a House seat against Republican David Jolly in Florida's 13th district. The election will be held in March, and an important debate happens tomorrow night.
The National Republican Congressional Committee has created a website. The URL is "contribute.sinkforcongress2014.com." The site features the Democrat's smiling picture, a nearly-identical campaign logo, and a single inconspicuous negative (the word "defeat," tucked in) to trap the busy or inattentive donor. If this isn't illegal, it should be.
