In the run up to his eventual removal as the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian military, General Zaluzhnyi publicly used the word “stalemate” to describe the war with Russia. That did not go over very well with many who support Ukraine. Most importantly, his boss President Zelenskyi, was not happy. But the larger point the general was trying to make … that for Ukraine to win, a technological leap was needed to break the "deadlock."
With the recent approval of US aid and the re-start of supplies to Ukraine, it would appear that the US is opening the door to the warehouse in order to give Ukraine access to just the sort of innovative technology Zaluzhnyi spoke about. Ukraine herself is also rushing to get as many of her own innovative weaponry into the fight as possible. And with the announcement yesterday by the United Kingdom(Foreign Secretary David Cameron) that they will no longer place limits on Ukraine’s use of British weapons to hit Russia proper, one would expect other European countries to soon follow suit. And it would appear the rest of Europe is about to do just that.
It is amazing how the recent US release of the long distance ATACMS is changing things. Here’s hoping the self-imposed restraints are coming off. The vituperative response earlier today by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to the call by French President Macron and EU Foreign Affairs Representative, Joseph Borell, for a determined and united EU response to Russia’s outrages in Ukraine is quite telling: “Right now, Europe is playing with fire, it's teetering between peace and war … this is not the EU we joined”. Part of it is for Orban’s own domestic audience but there’s also no doubt that Orban is doing Putin’s bidding.
Today it was announced that among the new high tech weaponry being made available to Ukraine is Feloni Aero’s drones armed with machine guns, missiles and surveillance gear.

If Russia is currently throwing everything including the proverbial kitchen sink at Ukraine, it would appear they’re seeing the slow yet inexorable momentum towards a united Europe(aided by America) bestirring herself to meet the Russian challenge head on with the requisite technological advances. Yo, Olaf ! You heard? Free the Taurus.
