On behalf of a friend of mine, I sent out the following to a number of news organizations (thanks Kossacks for contributing to the email list via various comments). Please feel free to take a listen and distribute the link and/or song as seen fit.
-------------------------------------------
At the height of the Vietnam War, acclaimed Philadelphia opera singer Lou Tubman wrote a pop song entitled "Who's Kidding Who," exposing the hubris and deception of an administration unwilling to be truthful with the American people.
[more after the break]
His son, musician and songwriter Andy Tubman, has become increasingly outraged with the Bush administration, and it's inept and corrupt handling of the Iraq Occupation.
Thus, he and his bandmates in The Jane Doe's have dusted off Lou Tubman's song, and breathed fresh life into a powerful musical statement that, sadly, continues to resonate deeply today.
Check out "Who's Kidding Who" from The Jane Doe's. The band encourages listeners to distribute the song as a contribution to the rising chorus speaking out against this administration's lies, mistakes and deceit.

LYRICS
"Who's Kidding Who"

From the beginning /
When you're born a little baby /
You're taught how to act /
What to say, what is crazy /
You're told be good, don't be lazy /
Or you'll go straight to hell for your sins
CHORUS
Who's kidding who with your gods of light and fire
Who's kidding who with your guns and souls for hire
Who's kidding who spouting truth through lips of liars
Who's kidding me who's kidding you who's kidding who
When I stop and think what we are doing /
Who's getting killed who's making a killing /
People scratching for food and living in ruin /
It just makes no sense
Why does power and wealth fog up the mirror /
So we can't see ourselves killing and fighting /
And controlling minds seems to be the sign of the times /
Flashing red warning lights
