Just saw a video on video.msn.com, Tom Brokaw detailing a story about a Houston, Texas crime lab that has been found to have made egregious errors in forensic testing. (sorry, problem with the site link)
Already, one prisoner on death row is going to be pardoned.
I'd like to see President Bush questioned on this: "Mr. President, at least one man on death row in Texas is about to be released because of incompetence in the Houston crime lab. What would you do if it is discovered that one or more of the men you put to death had been wrongly convicted?"
Might come to nothing, but there it could be dangerous for Bush. Especially because Kerry's opposition to the death penalty is a well-known position that he has never wavered on.
