Honestly, I never heard of this guy until recently, but he seems to be the GOP's version of Kucinich or Wellstone. And by that, I mean he actually wants to improve the lives of people instead of pandering to big money.
On Wednesday, he gave a talk on the House floor. This was a progressive speech and an inspiring one at that. I encourage all of you to thank him for not adhering to his party's doctrine and actually using historical context and his own reasoning to discuss our foreign policy over the last half-century.
