What SHOULD be major stories in the news and on talk radio:
1) Rove's outing of Valerie Plame.
2) Every story on Tom Delay and Jack Abramoff.
3) Ohio Republican parties Coingate scandal.
4) Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham's relationship with Mitchell Wade and MZM, Inc.
5) The smoking guns that are the Downing Street Minute memos.
6) July 11th deadline for Bush to submit to congress a "comprehensive set of performance indicators and measures of stability and security" two years after the fall of Saddam Hussein. I wonder if he'll refuse, since it will "embolden the enemy?"
So what are they talking about on "Talk Radio?"
The topic on KPRC Houston morning talk radio was "Stuck Song Syndrome" - Listeners call in and relate stories of all those oldies that stick in your head.
Topics from previous shows:
1) Do dinosaurs exist?
2) Star Wars characters in ads.
Incredible! WHO is hurting America? Trash Talk Radio, aka Tabloid Radio, that is who!
It would be interesting to track the subject matter of Talk Radio shows nationwide and see if there are any similarities in programming. We all know that they all follow talking points in regards to pumping positive or negative stories in politics; I wonder if there are any regarding what to talk about when there is only bad news generated by republicans.
