Just caught the tail end of the opening segment of "Hardball," where Greggers was interviewing Dick Saubers (Cooper's loier) and the Fink Bruce "I Wrote the Covert Statute" Finklehead...and
someone in the BushCo Mob is going down...
Proof: Even the shyster who wrote this '82 statute is spinning for the White House, and Jurko'll tell ya why none of it is gonna wash;
Brucie danced around the issue of whether Rove had broken the '82 statute in blowing Plame's cover, saying she hadn't been stationed abroad in the last five years so Rove's off the hook...
And Brucie's full of Ka-Ka, which Saubers hinted at but didn't drop the hammer on the issue dogging Rove and all the other suspects in Fitz's sights...
Because we all know (including shyster Bruce who fucking knows full well) by now that, even if Rove didn't break the '82 statute (if only 'cause it has been Six years since Plame was abroad), he still would have broken any number of laws prohibiting the disclosure of classified information to non-cleared "others."
Like, for example, if Plame wasn't a "covert agent" by the '82 statute definition, if her employment at the CIA was even merely "classified" info, Rove goes down.
Or, if any other info printed by Cooper or Novak during this shitstorm was merely "classified info," Rove goes down.
Or, if any of the conversations revealed to the Grand Jury show that Rove discussed "classified info" with anyone not authorized to know it, Rove goes down.
All this splitting of legal hairs and nuancing of words, you see, won't wash with either Fitzie or the Grand Jury if "classified info" left Rove's or anyone else's lips.
Because, any fool knows that if Rove told Cooper something that was "classified info" to "scare him off the story," he nevertheless disclosed "classified info" to an unauthorized person.
It matters not a whit if Cooper, Novak, Miller or any other hack printed what Rove told them or didn't, you see, 'cause even whispering this info to an unauthorized reporter is the "smoking gun" that can't be unfired.
You see, unless Cooper, Miller et al had "clearance" to know the "classified info" that Rove disclosed to them (you followin' this?), he goes down regardless of whether it was printed or not.
So who wants to bet that some or all of what Rove and Bushco were peddling around town was "classified info?"
Show me the law that states it is a crime to "reveal classified info to an unauthorized person unless it's a fucking reporter who promises or doesn't promise to print it"...go ahead...
Show me the law that permits the disclosure of "classified info" to an unauthorized source "to discredit even a blatant lie," which Wilson's article definitely was not...please, I want to see it...
Show me the statute that permits any disclosure of "classified info" for any reason whatsoever to unauthorized persons...still waiting, Rabid Right...
You see, the spin cycle is in furious swing, but Fitz, the Grand Jury and a subsequent trial judge and/or Jury will look only at the facts.
1. Was any of the info either printed or even "discussed" with others "classified?"
2. Were those people to whom Bushco's leakers spoke cleared to receive this "classified info?"
3. In being questioned, did any of the parties under suspicion deny giving any of this "classified info" to anyone hoping that a) the journalists wouldn't rat them out, or b) Fitzie would either not know what he was doing or give up after a few months' stonewalling?
4. Is there evidence either in reporters' testimony or their notes or both or anything else to give the lie to denials by Bushco?
Methinks that the answers to all 4 questions leave Bushco and King-maker Karl in deep fucking doo-doo, and all the spin, lies and subterfuge might keep the hounds at bay until the investigation wraps up...but in the end, the way Fitz has gone after the reporters, the way every judge has looked at the sealed evidence presented to date and said to the reporters, "Spill your fucking guts, gum-shoe..."
Novak has already testified that Rove gave him Plame's name...if her status as a CIA employee was classifed in any way...yup...Kaboom....
And remember, all this bullshit about "Wilson outed his own wife" is more comical than annoying. You show me someone who can deduce that his wife is a CIA employee 'cause Wilson talked about his "wife" in his writings just by his mentioning her by name or not, and you win a big prize...unless Wilson wrote about "my wife the NOC," this dog not only don't hunt, it ain't even licking its balls...
They can say Plame sent Wilson all they want, but if the facts say different...
They can say that Wilson claimed Cheney sent him, but in the absence of proof that he did...
They can say anything they want in public, but who wants to lay money on them singing a different tune before a fucking judge who doesn't take kindly to perjury or other legalistic shenanigans?
So if Rove or anyone else leaked classified info trying to burn Wilson, it don't matter if Wilson is Saddam Hussein's blood brother...a law was broken and all the "but-but-but's" aren't worth the shit coming out of Rove's ass, of which there is surely a hefty amount judging by the size of his pale, flabby hindquarters...
By the way, if revealing Plame's status blew the dummy company's cover, which we know it did, including that of anyone stationed overseas as an employee of said company...oh boy, why hasn't anyone else brought this up?
You see, the crime is to expose a NOC, not identify them by name, which any retard knows by now...and if naming Plame exposed her shell company and covert agents abroad...Rove goes down even if he didn't intend to blow those agents' cover..."classified info," don'tchya know?
In the end, someone fucked up large trying to Orwell Wilson, and we're all just waiting around to find out who broke what law and who goes down for it...
Bush can tongue-kiss Rove before the press if he wishes, but he'd better make it a good one, 'cause I don't know of any jury who would acquit because "I have confidence in this man..."
Someone's goin' down...
And my money's on Rove and/or Libby, but it don't matter, 'cause they're both Bush's boys, and there ain't an ocean large enough to distance King George from this shitpile when the stink hits the courtroom...
Who wants to lay money on it?
