Is this what happens at Daily Kos on a slow news day?
Since the cable news networks repeat the same two stories- the dam about to break in Massachussetts and the Baltimore tunnel BS- I figure it's a realllllly slow news day. So I log on Daily Kos this morning and see at least three diaries with the word "breaking" in the title. Then i wonder... 'Should any of these be diaries? Which ones belong in an open thread?'
The last one really gives me a kick, because it reminds me of those silly news tickers the cable networks use.
Last Week, DKos user Zackpunk wrote a diary titled: "The Rosetta Stone for Diary Titles." Zauckpunk's diary serves as a hilarious guide of what not to do when coming up with a diary title.
Those of you who are new to DailyKos may have found yourselves confused by diary titles. You notice a headline that makes a certain claim, only to find the diary itself making the opposite claim.
