I was listening to
Mike Malloy on
Air America Radio tonight and he read a story about David Airhart, a student at Kent State, and an Iraq/Afghani vet, who is being threatened with expulsion from that University for exercising civil disobedience against the war.
He served in Iraq, and he is a war hero.
More below the fold...
Hands OFF Dave!
David Airhart, an Iraqi Vet of both Afghanistan and Iraq and a Kent State University student is being threatened with explusion because he posted this poster on the rock climbing wall challenge of the ROTC training area at Kent State. The Banner says: "Kent Ohio 4 Peace". He was dragged down by local police and charged with "disorderly conduct".
Traprock Peace Center has the story and more links to write letters to stop his expulsion, but considering that David has information about WP and other atrocities in Iraq, I wanted to point this story out about this brave person who is standing up for America, for innocent Iraqis, and for peace.
Please bear with me as I try and get more information.
