Dear Folks: I need your help in gathering information for my high school senior who is trying to decide on a university. Top choices are Washington U in st Louis and U Of Penn in Philly. Not political enough you say for this site...well, How about Blue East Coast vs Red/Purple midwest?
I remember a thread on here from Wash U art students and so it made me think you all may be able to shed some light on what makes Wash U Art special.
I know there are Philadelphians out there who may have advice for a young artisit thinking of going to the big city. Any UPenn Quakers?
Her interests in art are extensive: 2d, 3d, metal, jewelry, ceramics...I know she would do well at either school. I am searching for any philosophical make up as to the departments, the universities, the cities that alumni can share.
Getting back to political, she is a young liberal who doesnt know all the jargon, but knows how to think on her own two feet. Read 'very independent' and a little stubborn, you know, like we all are. I am looking for any insights into the environment she would thrive best in..Thanks for your help.
