El Presidente is coming to Nebraska to shore up Adrian Smith's slumping campaign against Democratic Wünderkind, Scott Kleeb. You know they're running scared now!
It's in the Omaha World Herald as well.
BUSH COMING TO NEBRASKA TO CAMPAIGN FOR SMITH
BY DON WALTON / Lincoln Journal Star
President Bush will come to Nebraska on Sunday to campaign for 3rd District Republican congressional nominee Adrian Smith.
The appearance is likely to be in Kearney or Grand Island, it was learned Wednesday. No announcement has yet been made by the White House.
An appearance by the president would be confirmation of the importance the GOP places on retaining the traditionally safe Republican seat in western and central Nebraska during this year's battle for control of the House.
Smith is locked in a tight struggle with Democratic nominee Scott Kleeb, who could be on the verge of gaining the first Democratic victory in western Nebraska in 48 years.
Earlier, Vice President Dick Cheney came to Nebraska to give Smith a boost.
