I have not seen this idea broached on the MSM or here, so I thought I might make meta-jesus cry. Alot has been wriiten over the last few days about the GOP anger at Bush regarding Rummy. While we now have majorities we do not have veto proof majorities for anything, especially impeachment.
So I want to address a possibility that I've been mulling over. Hell, I am just as smart as any of those talking heads on TV and I'm of middling intelligence at best. I don't know whether that's an indictment of me or an indictment of the GOP.
So here goes... Is there any chance that Democrats could take the GOP anger at Bush for not dropping Rummy and cooperate on impeachment of Cheney and/or Bush? It would seem to me that the GOP would want to get back at Bush for fucking them "Real Good" in the mid-terms by not firing Rummy. While I am sure the GOP does not want to see President Pelosi I am sure that they would love to get back at Bush. Who would the GOP nominate to replace Cheney and then Bush? My feeling is we would get a VP McCain followed shortly by a President McCain. McCain reminds me alot of Gerald Ford. He's probably a good man, but he's not Presidential timber (however, GW has certainly lowered the bar). I believe that he'd last two years and be voted out.
What do you think? Which GOP congress critters should we approach to get the ball rolling? The least we could do is channel GOP anger to take out Cheney.
Sorry Meta-Jesus!
