As I hopped downstairs after a midafternoon nap to check e mail, this headline stares at me when I load Yahoo...
"Bush Chides Dems on Reflexive Response"
http://news.yahoo.com/...
(warning, possible rant below the jump...)
I know that we are not to be surprised by this remark, or any for that matter, from this guy.
After his throwing a tantrum when Congress did not endorse his escalation, ignoring the concerns seasoned and experienced military leaders about said escalation, again his response is the same.
As we all know Bush wants everything his way. Like a spoiled child he brattifies his responses through an adult body, unwilling to be self honest when throwing the words "partisanship" around.
C'mon, eegit. Get real. Quit blaming our newly elected government, ya know, the one who represents the will of the American people. After all, they ARE taking up issues and trying to make decisions for the very people who elected them.
As opposed to blaming and projecting like a petulant child, as opposed to claiming that you are the only one who allegedly wants to work across party lines... get real and speak your truth to power-- c'mon, I know you can say it, Mr. Bush:
Congress is not doing things the way I want them to do so. They are not listening to me.
Ted Kennedy nailed it on the head on 30 January. Why the disdain for the hard working people, Mr. Bush? Have they not given enough for your fragile ego?
The best way to get across that aisle, Sir, is by joining them. After all, the will of the hard working Americans that fund your friend's fat checks and fuel your war deserve better.
We as Americans deserve better than to be blamed for your insecurities, our Congress deserves better than to be blamed for your shortsightedness and stubborness. And the future of our country deserves better than to be blamed for your impotent leadership.
