This is my first diary and I am not some fantastic writer so be patient with me as I try to come up with something for blog Gore day.
I listened to the radio yesterday on the Ed Schultz show and heard Dennis Kucinch say that Al turned him down in 2000 for a universal health care plan. So I thought I would remind everyone how Al feels about it now.

In Surprising Shift, Gore Says He Favors Single-Payer Health Care System
"I think we've reached a point where the entire health care system is in impending crisis. I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that we should begin drafting a single-payer national health insurance plan."
Gore made these comments on November 15, 2002. At the time Dean was talking about health care for all americans and how to make that work and we know he ended up supporting him. Part of the reason I really respect Al Gore is he is willing to say when he has made a mistake and change.
