Mara Liasson and Juan Williams are long-time NPR personalities. Liasson is even a "Political Correspondent" for National Public Radio, yet they both do regular gigs on the National Republican Propaganda System, aka Fox News Network. (There must be other crossovers, too--they're just not coming to mind.)
Liasson in particular appears on both ostensibly as a straight reporter. Does NPR not realize how much her presence on both networks calls into question the "fairness and balance" of NPR?
The appearance of fairness and objectivity that is journalistically important simply cannot be carried off by someone that appears as a news correspondent under the Fox banner. You might as well be a claque in a FEMA "news conference."
NPR at the corporate level needs to recognize and acknowledge that Fox is NOT a News Network but a Republican organ and cut out this nonsense. It's ruining NPR's good name.
