So yeah, Iowa is now 30 days away and the dynamics of the 2008 Presidential campaign has changed. What I found it really amusing was how low the Hillary campaign went to make a petty point. This "Kindergarten" story has been in the news for two days now and I cant help it but laugh at the possibility of how many cartoons and graphic works will be made over the next weeks.
More Below the Fold
I already found one that surfaced, which I thought was hilarious. Remember Kindergarten Cop, the movie :) yeah, that.
But on the serious note, what strike me was how bad our political discourse has become. Look at how Hillary's people are trying to spin the mishap as suppose to accepting it as a mistake.
For me, calling it "Silly" was an admission of sloppiness. Mark Penn, the 'genius' behind the numbers (like Rove who had once was entitled to "the" math in the 2006 Congressional Election), apparently got some bad numbers from his focus group.
Are we witnessing the beginning of the end of civil discourse in the American political system? Do you think it's fair to dig such trivial things and try to make a weak point about it?
