I will continue to write at Dailykos.
I will continue to read diaries at Dailykos.
I will avoid diaries that only want to damage a Democratic candidate for President.
I don't feel bad about not reading the candidate diaries at Dailykos. I feel bad that my cousin, rserven, seems to have stopped writing Teacher's Lounge after more than two years of steady posting and I missed it. I must write her an email.
More below.
I will read diaries about the economy, Republican screw-ups, reading, life experiences, movies, music, sexual politics (feministing is really good for that, too) and the Media.
I may miss a lot, but I do like to read Feminisms (because, ya hear me, because I'm a man), Kossacks Under 35 (though I'm 49; it sometimes brings out the Dad in me), Bookflurries, Ask a Kossack (sometimes some really bent humor), Brothers and Sisters (some of the best people breathing show up there on Sundays), WYFP and a few others.
I like Open Thread and particularly like Open Thread for Nightowls (many truths are revealed in the dark, late night).
I like how people open up in the comments when there is a demographics diary.
I read the titles at Dailykos when there's "breaking" political news. Then I go read talkingpointsmemo, Crooks and Liars, Digby, Firedoglake and eschaton for the facts and interpretation that doesn't give me hives.
I will not miss the primary diaries. Actually, I will be glad when they're gone because better and more interesting diaries will get to stay on the list longer.
I will vote for the Democratic nominee. Period.
