From the same New York Times article that Kos posted about today, but just one paragraph up the page:
Some even accuse Mr. Obama of chauvinism, pointing to the time he called Mrs. Clinton "likeable enough" as evidence of dismissiveness. Nancy Wait, 55, a social worker in Columbia City, Ind., said Mr. Obama was far less qualified than Mrs. Clinton and described as condescending his recent assurances that Mrs. Clinton should stay in the race as long as she liked.
I...see. So Ms. Wait: You'd be happier if Obama said "Hilary is America's psycho ex-girlfriend" and "She should exit the race today"? This would make him less dismissive and condescending?
Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. My mom was right: Hanging out with stoopid people will make you stoopid.
