(Update, I think my title was too long, shortened it)
Ok, I'm going to make this short and sweet. Like many of you, I'm very angry right now about Hillary and her comments.
My ass she was only talking about Bill and June! Which, by the way, thanks Hillary and Sirhan Sirhan for ruining my birthday month! Yeah, that's right, the supposedly esteemed senator in with that bastard that killed Robert Kennedy. This woman's had that incident on her mind for a long damn time, and Olbermann has proven it.
This is why she's staying in. Not because she's the better candidate. Not because Florida. To me that was an excuse. No, this women in her Geraldine Ferarro moment, revealed what many unfortunately have thought. That something is gonna happen to Barack Obama, first probably something having to do with Tony Retzko, then who knows something else about his past. And if it wasn't something about his past, it would probably be something he or his wife would say, it was all part of the underestimation of the abilities of this man by the Clintonistas. But of course the last thing, the one thing that was in the darkest regions of the Clintons' minds were RFK.
When I was young, no actually really even today, I always figured that this country took some sort of alternate reality turn when both JFK was gunned down in Dallas, and later his brother Robert in California. Something inside me, perhaps its because my mind isn't exactly the best, but it felt as if this country wasn't supposed to go down this path. That the first Kennedy administration was to herald something that Franklin Delano Roosevelt gave us, something like a New Deal. That because of his death, his successor gave us Vietnam (yes, I know even back to Eisenhower we had "advisers" there) which lead us to Nixon which gave us Jimmy Carter (not a bad man, despite what many have claimed) which gave us...gulp..Reagan. You know the rest.
The same with Robert F. Kennedy, that had he not died that June, that he would have become President of the United States. I remember reading a book about such a thing, wasn't all that bad. Imagine, no Vietnam, no Nixon...perhaps no Reagan Revolution and the bastard we got now. The thing is, history was taken away from us twice.
This is why she must understand that the idea of assassination should not be taken lightly. Because it is indeed history that is at stake. We all know the alternative, a Republican victory this November. This wasn't her time, yet she holds on in an almost Lucrezia Borgia fashion, that by some vile chance that her destiny will be given to her through the misfortune of others. I'm sorry, but this should not be.
Hillary, you showed your hand, and darling what we see isn't at all nice. No, if something, God forbid, did happen to Barack, I don't give a damn if you are left running. You know, perhaps I would have voted for you, but not anymore, you don't even deserve the votes you've gotten now. To secretly pine, and don't deny it, the misfortune of another Democrat of this degree betrays all those who did vote for you.
But we must be realists, I guess, and see that perhaps your black widow wish may come to pass. And if history is to be taken from us again, then my dear, I say this with the utmost respect (which is decreasing every moment for you), it won't be you I will move to support. No, as mentioned, God forbid, Obama could not run, I will do what I can to get John Edwards to replace him. If any man, any outside of Barack Obama could be heir to the Kennedy's and the Roosevelt's move for reform, it is John Edwards.
Lastly, though you probably will never read this (not exactly the best blogger on here, I will admit), I hope you do realize that you need to drop out. If not for political reasons, then for personal ones. When a person wishing to achieve a position of authority has reached a point where they see the door opening with the closing of the casket door of another, then its time to quit. You know, I started this entry in anger, but now, getting it all out, I feel sorry for you. Hillary, it's time, leave not just for the sake of the party, but do it for yourself.
