After all the arguements that the Clintons have used that Obama is unelectable, she is now the one who is unelectable.
She might have meant differently. She should of edited the speech if she meant differently, maybe it was a careless mistake. But it will not be taken the way she meant or claims she meant. You all know that the quote will be played over and over again till the nomination is over. Super delegates will flock to Obama. Don't be suprised to hear a bunch of endorsements in the next few days. But we all know she could not have been elected in the first place. I say that Clinton would have lost big time. Obama attracts independents, and McCain does too, when he faces Clinton. He was know to be less conservative before, so not all of the Nut wings would vote for him, but if Clinton was the nominee, then tons of Republicans would vote for McCain to vote against Clinton.
A week or two ago I was going to write a diary on how I would vote for Clinton if she stole the nomination. But since this happened, I would not vote for Clinton. Period. No matter how badly I hated McCain I will not vote for her. So now, there will be a backlash from her party along with all the Republicans coming out against Clinton. She won't win. It is now officially impossible.
UPDATE: Clinton needs 83% of the remaining delegates to win.
