I truly believe that HRC's female supporters . .
of the type that Brazille is describing are fucking nutcases.
They have lost all sense of proportion and judgment, to the point that their desire for some kind of "feminist" vindication in seeing a woman as President has become a warped obsession that has blinded them to every other issue at stake. Yes, it would be nice to see a female president.
[snipped for brevity]
These people are truly fucked-in-the-head. (And that's an understatement.) They are nutsos. Wackos. Mentally ill, even.
In fact, they share a similar pathology to Bush's hardcore supporters.
In my book, they're sick in the head and they need to be treated as such.
Why this pisses me off, and it should for you too, down there.
Mentally ill, even. As if that's even worse than nutso, wacko and fucked in the head.
Well, I guess that makes me as bad as one of those nutso, wacko, mentally ill, pathological Bushbots.
By the way, you left out Schizophrenic, that's usually a good crazy person epithet. Bipolar seems to be making the rounds as a good one these days, too. I always like that one, since I have Bipolar Disorder, and it's always nice to know how your peers feel about you.
Bipolar disorder (also known as manic depression) is a treatable illness marked by extreme changes in mood, thought, energy and behavior. It is not a character flaw or a sign of personal weakness. Bipolar disorder is also known as manic depression because a person’s mood can alternate between the "poles" of mania (highs) and depression (lows). These changes in mood, or "mood swings," can last for hours, days, weeks or months.
See, that's from a leading organization, DBSA, [Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance] and they don't believe I'm flawed, or pathological, or a wacko, or fucked in the head. Which is good, because we do good work, like advocate for ourselves through writing, meeting and calling our congress critters to do things like help pass S. 558: Mental Health Parity Act of 2007. While it has not passed yet, its sitting in subcomittee, but it's moving along, and without us mentally ill, fucked in the head wacko's, it might still just be sitting there.

Bipolar disorder affects nearly six million adult Americans. It usually begins in late adolescence (often appearing as depression during teen years), although it can start in early childhood or later in life. An equal number of men and women develop this illness (men tend to begin with a manic episode, women with a depressive episode), and it is found among all ages, races, ethnic groups and social classes. The illness tends to run in families and appears to have a genetic link. Like depression and other serious illnesses, bipolar disorder can also negatively affect spouses and partners, family members, friends and coworkers.
These are the people you're disparaging when you use terms like "Fucked in the head, mentally ill, even."
I have been here for more than a year, and about once a month, I start to write a diary about this because the diaries are riddled with this rhetoric when someone is in disagreement with another, but I delete it. Today, I may be on edge more, or maybe its just time, but today, I felt it had to be said.

[UPDATED] I went through and bolded my issue with the post, maybe more people will understand the diary, instead of commenting on the post, which isn't my point. hint: This has nothing to do with Hillary supporters, or Donna Brazille, or Margaret Thatcher, or Democrats, or feminists...... or... I hope you get the picture.
