It's getting interesting over there in Europe.
The German weekly Der Spiegel is reporting that British and French prime ministers Brown and Sarkozy are mad at Obama for planning his big speech in Berlin and neglecting their respective countries. More on the flipside...
Der Spiegel:
Barack Obama's big Berlin visit is causing quite a bit of envy in the other big European capitals. The Germans are not only hosting the Democratic presidential candidate - they have also been scheduled to receive more speeches than other European countries on this tour. The French and the Brits are right now feeling very neglected.
All translations are mine.
Whoa! Who woulda thought the Europeans will be falling head over heels in love with Obama to this extent. Clearly, the logistics of organizing the German style rally in all 3 European countries would have been too much. Obama's campaign chose Obama-crazy Germany for his big Euro rally. Good choice. The rest have to wait till he becomes president I guess.
I am enjoying this way too much :-)
