Does anyone know why former Senator Bob Graham of Florida isn't publicly mentioned as an Obama VP candidate? Let's look at his positives:
- He is probably the most popular Florida politician in History, serving as its Governor and Senator (he was a United States Senator from Florida from 1987 to 2005 and the governor of that State from 1979 to 1987), and winning most of his elections by large margins. He would unquestionably help Obama in Florida.
- He has strong foreign policy credentials based on his work in the Senate, and his tenure as Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee (where he was far more competant than the current Chairman, Jello Jay).
- He opposed the Iraq war from the beginning, voting against it in October 2002.
With all of these pluses, why wouldn't he be the prohibitive VP front-runner?
Or is he, in fact, the prohibitive VP frontrunner? Only nobody but Obama and his inner circle know about it?
