It's Sunday night, so I figure it might be the night to have a diary that might not meet the requirements. But there are some questions that I have that have been going through my head for a while now. Maybe those smarter than I can help me answer them.
It's the part of the year that I start to get very nervous about things. We are two months away from the election and we really need to win.
- The almost 20% of Clinton supporters that are choosing to vote for McCain rather than Obama.....is that the number of racist Democrats in this country?
- How are the Republicans so effective at painting people badly? Michelle Obama has said ONE thing that she probably shouldn't have....the proud thing---and all I hear about is that she needs a makeover. Why can't we be that good at bashing people.
- Why did Barack Obama take a vacation in the dog days of August?
- Why does the electoral map still look about the same? Is it going to come down to Ohio and Florida again?
- Will Hillary and Bill actually vote for Obama?
- Why do Hillary's supporters expect the get special treatment? I can understand being sad about your candidate losing, but you've got to get over it.
- How can this election be so close? It's mind boggling.
- Where has Obama's passion gone? It's still there, but it's not the passion I saw 8 months ago and it's not the passion I saw 4 years ago.
- Will the 'new' part of the party (i.e. the blogs, internet outreach, etc) be willing to take some blame if we lose this election?
- Was I the only one who didn't get the Obama text message Saturday morning?
- Why do the Hillary people think that Obama should help retire her campaign debt? Simple rule in life (and politics): if you run out of money and you want to stay in the race you have to cut spendig or raise more money. There are plenty of candidates that would have loved to stay in the race and get money from the Obama campaign.
