This video has now been corroborated by a piece in The Nation where they describe a New Yorker interview where Palin does the same thing and describes Obama AGAIN as "CHANGE" and against "status quo"
See why it's sooooo important after video. WATCH!
Analysis - Why it's important:
- This is as sincere as I've seen her.
- She speaks better about Obama than most Obama spokesman - she sums it up beautifully.
- She clearly has a chance to pump up McCain here but instead gushes about our leader.
- Obama camp should hire this woman.
- Attack line is clear: "She was FOR Obama before she was against him. Like the bridge."
- I thought she didn't do interviews.
- Makes all future attacks look insincere and scripted.
- Kudlow asks her how McCain can win Alaska - not about Obama and not to analyze. See below for more on this...
- Screaming to be an AD, especially with some corroboration
Some people have said she is wearing her 'analytical hat' but Kudlow does NOT ask her about the race or Obama - he asks her how McCain can win Alaska. And she doesn't answer it, instead she goes off on a terrific Obama love-fest.
'Analytical' also does not hold because of the article in The Nation - which corroborates above video.
From the article, it does seem as though she did not mind he was running well the state, in fact she says he is "change" LOL!
"Something's kind of changing here in Alaska, too, for being such a red state on the Presidential level. Obama's doing just fine in polls up here, which is kind of wigging people out, because they're saying, ‘This hasn't happened for decades that in polls the D' --the Democratic candidate-- ‘is doing just fine.' To me, that's indicative, too. It's the no-more-status-quo, it's change."
Didn't seem bothered by the prospect of Obama winning Alaska
Referring to the prospect that her red state might have a blue moment, the governor told the reporter who visited her Juneau office, "Turning maybe purple in the state means, to me, it's more independent, it's not the obsessive partisanship that gets in the way of doing what's right for this state, and I think on a national level that's what we're gonna see."
Here is the article in full:
Obama Not So Scary Afterall
Put the two together and you get a picture of very DIFFERENT Sarah - far from the bloviating scripts. On the video, it is clear, she is being sincere.
Simple, fit in with the Bridge lie, "She was for Obama before she was against him. Like the bridge."
Lather, rinse and repeat.
Pitbull can be turned into a chihuahua if this is spread. Don't you see? It takes the attack out of the dog, defangs the pitbull.
And don't kid yourself, the GOP would have used it by now - and it doesn't have to be taken out of context!
It's about the CONTRAST - this is no pitbull, this is an Obama FAN!
THIS is the REAL Sarah Palin.
