To have cheerfully provided this administration with its latest, greatest coup against taxpayers is an act of cowardice and betrayal.
Dear Congresswoman Baldwin,
I have voted for you for as long as you've been a candidate. I will be voting for your opponent, whoever they are, at every opportunity hence.
To have cheerfully provided this administration with its latest, greatest coup against taxpayers is an act of cowardice and betrayal.
Yes a plan was needed, many superior options were floated by several non-partisan, credible economists for anyone with the curiosity to look — in nearly every case some relief was directly provided to those of us struggling more than any of your rank seem to realize, or much concern yourselves with. Trickle down? Again? Really?
Are we democracy or oligarchy? follow-up question: Whats your net worth?
Whats mine? Now that I owe more on my house than its value I suppose I'm afraid to ask. Naturally, the very first thing I want to do is sell-out the coming (presumably) generations in order to funnel, post-haste, relief to a wall street now effectively annexed by the same black-hearted government that has boastfully orchestrated the national nightmare of the last 7 years.
There were many options, but no excuses. You are not a national candidate, you could have afforded to take a stand, and who among your constituents would have failed to support you?
Don't you know how much most of us love this country? Don't you know how much we need some justice? Some hope?
Nobody would have cared how 'bi-partisan' a just and rational solution really was. We just needed a little help, and some reminder that our elected officials didn't reckon the rest of us simpering, milquetoast idiots.
Sincerely,
Andrew K.
