In what could be a first in the world, a species known as Homo Sapiens has been observed by scientists in the act of splitting into two distinct species in the United States, the world's biggest economy and one of the world’s largest countries.
This may be remarkable because what is causing them to diverge are adaptations to their vision as they try to cope with increased pollution and the effects of climate change. The change is also happening without geographical isolation, which was thought to be a precursor for evolution.

The Homo Sapiens, (or 'human') is a Hominidae type primate native to the Earth, consisting of many cultures where each cultural region has its own languages, customs and laws.
In a report published in the journal Nature, researchers from Tokyo’s Institute of Technology and the Swiss Federal Institute of Political Science and Technology have observed the human evolve into a new species better adapted in sighting its threats and opportunities.
But the scientists have also tabled evidence indicating that it is not greed and increasing scarcity alone that are responsible for the regression of some humans in the United States and the evolution of others into a new species.
The report summarizes that a new species may have been born because of vision differences and that what different humans see in the country could be the driving force that causes some to evolve.
This may explain the very rapid loss of neo conservatism in the United States over the past year. The study says the vision adaptations have also affected mating patterns.
Researchers looked at two species, conspicuous by their red or blue colours. They determined through lab experiments that certain genetic mutations helped some humans adapt their vision deeper to see the colour blue and others in shallower communities to recognize shades of red.
The researchers showed that the eyes have adapted to this difference so that humans that live in urban areas have a pigment in their eyes that is more sensitive to reason, while shallow-vision humans were sensitive to fear.
Evolutionary science typically holds that new species are born when populations become isolated from one another, forcing them to adapt differently.
Snark aside, we now have unequivocal proof that evolution is real.
This is in my opinion the primary difference between the two political parties and at this point in time, could be a key wedge issue for the Democrats.
