Ok, it was 2:15 a.m. and again I was up thinking. You can probably tell I'm a semi-insomniac. Why has Ayers been so quiet during this whole negative association thing?
Does he feel that it is better to stay out of the limelight so as to not bring more attention to the matter? I'm saying, McLame has called this guy some pretty strong things, some to the point that the lawyer in me was foaming at the mouth in anticipation of a slander case against him. It must take some strong will to just stand by and let someone deride everything you have accomplished, even if your start in life was much less than desirable. Unless you knew your due was coming.
And why is it that both Obama and Biden have all but double dog dared McLame to bring him up at the next debate? (Entering fantasyland) How cool would it be for Obama to respond to a McLame attack about Ayers by saying "well, Mr. Ayers is here - why don't we just ask him?" I know I'm just dreaming, the sheer logistics would be a nightmare, not to mention the I told you so" spin, but the look on McLame's face would be sooooo worth it.
