You can read it for yourself, but those who click on the Minneapolis Star-Tribune site now are greeted with news of our favorite Rep, Michele Bachmann, in her first formal appearance since her disastrous appearance on "Hardball."
"I had never seen his show before," she said. "I probably should have taken a look at what the show was like. A trap was laid and I stepped into it."
Poor Michele. It's not enough that she said those things, now people are holding her to it!
Contained within the story is the exciting news that El Tinklenberg has now raised more than $800,000 since Michele began to blather and DKos began to rise!
While Bachmann told the luncheon crowd of 100 that she didn’t question Obama’s patriotism, she added: "I’m very concerned about Barack Obama’s views. I don’t believe that socialism is a good thing for America."
It seems that DailyKos and the anti-American wing of the American electorate have forced the Twin Cities' largest newspaper to tell the WHOLE TRUTH about what Michele said, along with her denials.
Congratulations, all, for a job well done.
Addressing a business group in St. Cloud, Bachmann said: "I did not, nor do I, question Barack Obama’s patriotism. I didn’t say that Barack Obama was anti-American nor do I believe that Barack Obama is anti-American."
UPDATE: Here is my favorite response from the Star Tribune comments section:
Where was the trap, "do you think Barack Obama has anti american views?" Yes I do or no I don't. That is not a trap it is a question. And if you really think that he does then you are an idiot. He has anti american views but he wants to be the president, that doesn't even make sense. Maybe he is going to get elected so he can run us in to the ground. Oh wait that was Bush's plan.
