Great article about the post-election rift opening up between Blair and Gordon Brown, with Brown asserting more power over cabinet selections and defeated MPs laying the blame for their losses squarely at Blair's doorstep. Blair's political career is effectively over, and now it's a question of how long he will serve. He may seek to ride out the storm and rehabilitate himself, but I don't think that the Labour party would be willing to keep him around that long to take another defeat.
