Anne D'innocenzio of the AP has a new article noting the unexpected rise in consumer confidence in November:
Consumer confidence rose in November amid receding gas prices, but Americans' views on the economy remain the gloomiest in decades
Personally speaking, I am happy that gas prices are less than half of what they were in July, but were lower gas prices really the only reason that consumer confidence rose in November? Help me remember what happened after the jump....
So what else happened in November? There's that long-overdue Guns 'n Roses album, but it only just came out. And likewise, it was only reported yesterday that alan colmes broke up with his BFF, Sean Hannity. I do seem to recall something momentous happening on the first Tuesday of this month, but for the life of me I just don't remember any details.
But don't worry about me -- I'm sure I'll remember eventually. Maybe we should ask the AP, since they are purportedly an actual news organization, if anything else happened in November that could have increased the confidence of at least 67 million Americans.
