Today on The View, Melissa Etheridge was a guest to perform but also to talk. Let's just say when Melissa brought up their previous Nov. 5 discussion on the passage of Proposition 8, Sherie Shepherd just wanted her to "Shut up and sing" by the end of it.
I don't need to tell you how much I despise Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her echo chamber/Stepford Wife/propaganda vibe in regards to politics. I understand that The View is about giving all sorts of views but there can surely be a female conservative out there who does not go from trying to smear Obama to paling around with Palin on the campaign trail to acting like it is all alright like a light-switch. Sherri Shepherd is another one. Not because she went from being unsure about who she was voting for on Nov. 3 for president to crying about Obama winning, that is a whole other story, but also throwing away her brain for Born-Again Christianity. Their views on the passage of Proposition 8 was not surprising but still disappointing. I often wondered how they could look their future guests who were gay in the eye without being looked back as hypocrites in a way of, "We would love you to come on and bring us ratings and money but we do not want you to get married".

All I can say is GO MELISSA! She brought up the biggest "voice of the people" in American History, Thomas Jefferson, and Elisabeth still ignored it once again exposing how she never seems to listen to the other side like the many arguments she and Whoopi Goldberg get into.
