John Thain of Merrill Lynch
Richard Fuld of Lehman Brothers
Bernie Madoff, independent swindler
They make the news sometimes and then disappear from the screen. They jet off to tropic island getaways, humbled I'm sure and disgraced while sipping cocktails poolside and the loot stashed offshore and abroad.
Why are we not outside their walled-off mansions with torches and rattling the ritzy wrought iron gates that keep out the hordes?
That would make the news: night after night after night outside the enclaves of the rich and infamous, protesting and demanding justice and a seizing of their assets like in drug cases. Taxpayers and shareholders should be paid back the Trillions stolen, siphoned and redistributed to them.
In my city and state I would go to every protest outside every compound of every fat cat who outsourced jobs overseas, or who incorporated offshore to avoid taxes to our country, or who raided pension funds and fought the right of their workers to have the protection of a union.
Those fat cats from AIG, Merrill Lynch and the others who took OUR money... OUR MONEY as taxpayers and shareholders... will have a special place in hell, but until then we can make their lives a living hell in the wilting hot lights as their home and their every move is watched and protested.
The paparazzi of the rich and infamous if you will. Sure, they're not hot as Paris or bosomy like Lindsey but there would be entertainment and satisfaction for sure in seeing bloated parasites with the rocks removed for us to see the creatures in their natural habitat. Good times!
