I just got back from the San Mateo Teabaggin', which, just like the original Boston Tea Party, was held at a bus stop in front of a mall. Follow me over the fold for pictures and possibly some sarcasm.
There were maybe ten dozen teabaggers along a strip of sidewalk about a hundred feet long, with a few stragglers waving their signs at traffic across the street. Not many kids - about half of the protesters were right about retirement age. This was, by the way, the whitest group of people I've seen since in a long time.

How's that for a turnout?
Acorn, of course, does not receive federal funding. But that's okay. Reality will just have to take a back seat to incoherent outrage.
This man is waving a historically accurate 1776 flag and wearing a historically accurate minuteman hat under his historically accurate "New England Patriots" jacket. I think he may be trying to convey some kind of message, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Also, everybody knows that what comes after a "Trillion" is a "Brazilian"
The British are coming. Wait. . .what?
I came for the capostrophe and I wasn't disappointed.
Is that meant to be some kind of lewd double entendre?
And then, finally, this. The "hope" and "change" is working out pretty well so far, thanks. How's the "incoherent rage" and "denial" working out for you?
