The time has come to get off the lazy asses. There were 69 millions of us last November demanding the radical change of the existing rotten health care system. There were 69 millions of us no longer willing to accept the dictate of the insurance companies. There were 69 millions of us letting our elected officials know loud and clear that enough was enough. Where [the phukk] are we now?
Do we no longer care there's 50 million uninsured? Do we no longer care insurance companies dictate who can be insured, what treatments should be used and what bills paid for? Do we no longer care we'll go bankrupt if we or our loved ones fall seriously ill? Do we no longer care our premiums go up by 15-20% a year, and so do insurance industry bonuses? Do we no longer care health care is a right not a privilege? Do we no longer care the life expectancy in the US is among the lowest of the developed nations? Do we no longer care the infant mortality rates are higher in America than in Martinique, Taiwan, Lichtenstein, and of all places, Cuba? Do we no longer care Morocco, Dominica, Oman, Malta, Andorra, San Marino have better quality health care than we do? Do we no longer care we'll be, sooner or later, just another one uninsured if we just keep watching? The lies are hitting the ether and the hysterically screaming minority is hitting the streets, and by getting more and more attention from MSM, they are gaining up in the argument. Did we already forget about Iraq? Will we let this one slip, too? Where are all those 69 million souls? Where is all that organizing? Where is the door-knocking? Where has all the youth gone? Too busy to fight? Too lazy? If we really believe the power of a rationale prevails, we're destined to lose. If we can't silence the dumb, then we deserve to lose. If we can't crush the lies with facts and truths, then we deserve to lose. If we can't force those we elected to act on our behalf, then we deserve to lose. If we can't put [the phukk] up, then we should shut [the phukk] up...
