But, I encourage anyone to add their own message to the media and the Democrats.
While it is oh so romantic that the great Senator Kennedy was able to forge compromise. Was able to sculpt legislation to include a little bit of good for all sides. My sense was he was a deeply intuitive man. In being such, he would never negotiate his life's purpose away, from the position of having the White House, The Congress and most importantly , the will of 70% of the American people.
He was indeed a generous man. But, he was no fool.
I advise you (Nora O'Donnell I am talking to you) to do the honorable thing. Honor him. Use this time to reflect on the work, the meaning and from his perspective the importance of the cause(s) he championed. Quality, Affordable Health Care for people from North to South and East to West.
That was the man.
