His daughter Has A Purple Belt
I got that off of his Facebook page. That's about all I know about Rob.
Other than now he's got a warchest that might have done more good if applied to Health Care Reform.
Other than he's a marine.
Other than he's not Joe Wilson, which appears to be his greatest strength and campaign stance.
Other than he can't keep a website up.
Other than he can direct people to his campaign coffers but not to any substantive material on his political stances.
Other than he's a social conservative in a state where Boeing employees just de-certified their union.
Rumor has it he supports EFCA.
There's nothing to indicate he supports a Public Option.
He appears to be for S-Chip.
He appears to support veterans benefits.
I believe in free trade, but that was a cost that South Carolina couldn't afford to pay.
As, long as it's good for South Carolina...
The title of his HuffPo piece was Why I'm Running for Congress in South Carolina. Because Joe Wilson is bad was his only reason. He never took a stand in that article on anything. Where does he stand? Is it wise to give money to someone before you know who they are?
Would it have taken much effort to direct the donations to the Primary winner for SC- 02? Why the free pass?
It makes me curious how a site can go gaga over someone they know nothing about other than he's not someone else.
Other than he's been given $600,000.00 for not being Joe Wilson. No primary needed here apparently. No push to the left just give him some cash.
We have very pressing, definitive problems requiring our resources. Perhaps, they should have been the priority. If Public Option goes down, there will be more than one Red State D (who only got as close as he did last year thanks to an unprecedented black voter turnout and not being Joe Wilson) to worry about next year.
Are there some non southern Dems in tight races who would be better investments?
So, where does the good candidate stand on public option?
