This will be brief....
Goldstone has objected to the language of the resolution adopted by the UNHCR in endorsing his report according to Huffington Post:
Goldstone told the Swiss newspaper Le Temps before the vote that the wording of the resolution was unfortunate because it included only censure of Israel. He voiced hope that the Human Rights Council would alter the wording of the draft.
The Jerusalem Post quotes Goldstone as saying, "There is not a single phrase condemning Hamas as we have done in the report."
Goldstone is correct to object. His report found evidence of war crimes by both sides of the conflict and both sides should investigate. Leaving the Hamas acts out of the resolution leads one to wonder about the bias in the council.
As he states, one hopes the draft resolution is revised accordingly.
