For those of you who aren't familiar with the Daily Mail, it is one of Britain's biggest-selling and probably nastiest right-wing rag.
It regularly posts shocking, scaremongering front page headlines based on either distorted facts or total fabrications. Their usual targets are Muslims, immigrants, asylum seekers, gays, single mothers, welfare claimants, or a combination of two or more of the above.
You can find a Daily Mail headline generator here.

It comes up with beauties like "Are working mothers impregnating your teenage daughters" or "Have binge-drinking paedophiles given Middle England AIDs?"
I imagine you get the picture. It's a vile paper that poisons the political debate as many of its moronic readers take what it says as the gospel and politicians constantly pander to them, hence why we'll see sensible policies like drug legalisation when pigs fly.
But even by Daily Mail standards, this article I've just read on there is ridiculous.

To give you some background on Quentin Letts, the bitter little toad who wrote this article, he once referred to former Speaker of the Commons Michael Martin as "Gorbals Mick". Michael Martin comes from Glasgow where "Gorbals Mick" is an ethnic slur against Irish Catholics. This should give you a clue as to what a bigot this man is.
Anyway, here's some quotes from the article:
The magic of monarchy may not last if this faux egalitarianism is pursued too long by Clarence House.
While the Princes set a crass example to other young men of their age, women no longer leave the hell-raising simply to the boys. They join in, trying to match their men mojito for mojito.
They have lost the centuries-old idea of being demure in public. The sort of slender-lipped, self-questioning, hesitant lover played by Celia Johnson in David Lean's 1945 film Brief Encounter is now found only in recently arrived immigrant families
A Daily Mail columnist would only ever praise immigrants if it allowed them to attack another of their hated social ills, in this case "uncouth" women.
Yet thanks to the messianic toil of the equality crowd, marriage has gone down the khazi, discarded by scowling intellectuals as a form of religio-sexual bondage, institutional sexism minted at the altar of a male-run religion
The teenager who gives birth to a couple of bastards may be thrilled to know that Miss Greer (herself childless) approves of her right to have babies young.
When was the last time anyone heard the word "bastards" used in its original context? I thought it had died out in the 1950s, the decade in which the Daily Mail still lives.
Two-parent families- come on, let's be outrageous and call them 'normal families' - are discriminated against.
They see the single mothers queue-barge them on the waiting list for subsidised accommodation.
This one of the Daily Mail's classic misogynist lies. That Britain is full of teenage girls who want to become pregnant to get public housing and welfare benefits, and the "nuclear family" is discriminated against, a victim of the trendy, PC, leftist, Guardianista elite who hate traditional Middle England values.
the institution of marriage, which has done more than anything over the centuries to glue society together, is weakened.
This suits the equality freaks. They hate marriage. All that 'love, honour and obey' stuff shivers their timbers.
Yeah, isn't it so sad that the days when women had to promise to obey their husbands are gone? Maybe we should also go back to the days when women got a good slap if they refused to "submit" to their husband's demands?
In conclusion, Quentin Letts has a very small dick.
I take a very keen interest in American politics and I really sympathise with you guys for the rabid wingnuts you have to put up with, but as you see you don't have a monopoly on them. You should check out a couple of other Daily Mail columnists, Melanie Phillips an Richard Littlejohn.

Some of the stuff these freaks come out with would make Michelle Bachmann blush.
