This coming Wednesday night, I'll be participating in a debate against our local College Republicans as a representative of the College Democrats. The format will be a formal, Lincoln-Douglas style debate. We will be debating the resolution,
Resolved: President Obama's policy have been ineffective at combating terrorism.
Republicans will debate as affirmative and Democrats as negative. Audience members will be welcomed to ask questions and cast a vote for the side that presented the best case and arguments.
So, in addition to my own research and that of the College Democrats, I though it would make great sense to harness the raw power of the Kossack community.
So what do you all think? What are the strongest arguments against the Resolution? And what do expect the Republicans will come out swinging with? Preparation and anticipation -- the best tools in a debate.
Think you all can help me out?
