This isn't going to be the best diary ever written, but I've got a few things I'd like to say to you guys.
I want to say thank you. Thank you for all the hard work you've done to get this health care bill passed. I know we still have a long way to go, but this is a huge deal and it's a great place to start for making things even better.
There are times I've felt angry and hopeless. But you guys always reminded me that there wasn't enough time for that right now, that there was still a lot of hard work to do. Look at us now - we did it.
I'd like to think that once our president signs this bill there won't be a dry eye among us.
I'd also like to thank you for your friendship. All of you. At the end of the day I know that there is always a place that I've got a ton of support. No matter what. I can always count on my fellow Kossacks to make the day just a little easier and brighter.
We still have a lot of hard work to do, but we all deserve a pat on the back tonight for what we've been able to do. Look at what amazing things we can do when we work together at kicking ass and taking names. We've literally made history. We're pretty awesome.
Silly sentiments? Perhaps. But I think we're all feeling a little sentimental tonight.
My good friend CasualWednesday had a great idea. Right after we get to 216 on final passage, let's all raise a toast to Uncle Teddy tonight.
