I listened to some great jazz tonight, but I voted tonight for the third time in a primary. Then I turn on the TV and my wife (who is now on her card night) left on MSNB). Chris, shut up about that ad.
In the 45 years I've known Arlen Specter I never voted for him because he switched from being a democrat and ran as a republican for DA. Then, after all these years I finally had an opportunity to vote for Arlen, he fucked it up. He did not lose because of that ad Sestak touts about him switching parties to win re-election. He started to tank the moment he laid that bullshit about Sestak's military career. That's when his poll numbers tumbled, and that's why I voted for Sestak. Arlen, a lesson you should have learned when you were a kid. Never, never impugn someone who wore the uniform and served their country for over 30 years.
I didn't even think twice about the vote when I got in the booth. I love Obama, but guess what, you should not have gone done that rode. That's when everyone of us who have known Specter's ambitious nature, Arlen toasted himself.
