That's what the New York Post said or is making up - er - or reporting that Ed Schulz had a 'meltdown' - complete with quotes from an unnamed sources.
"It was like Mel Gibson had entered the newsroom."
A second 'source' at MSNBC said
"Ed never gets any attention and love, and he finally snapped."
Let's say, for a second, that this 'meltdown' could have happened, would MSNBC trash their fastest growing show in the ratings department to a Murdoch Newspaper - saying 'Ed wasn't getting any love?'

On his show today, Ed said that when you are out in front, the only thing the other guys can do is
"shoot you in the back"
I tend to agree with Ed's assessment, and that his ratings are starting to get under Murdoch and friend's skin.
Doesn't this look like the old 'divide and conquer' style of attack?
Sources say the hothead was pushed over the edge by MSNBC's catering to bullying fellow anchor Keith Olbermann and its focus on golden girl Rachel Maddow.
Oh really? Sources? Three sources now in the MSNBC organization trashing Ed Schulz. Really?
Let's see a real hot head:
or how about this guy:
"I didn't think I could hate victims faster than the 9/11 victims"
- Glen Beck
Ed, the bloggers here are glad that they are attacking you - it shows that you are making a difference out there. Keep it up.
