Maybe it's just me, maybe it's more conservatives trying to pass an agenda. But yesterday I was looking at RCP's House races. The bad news? It shows Republicans taking at 205-193. It startled me, too... but then I saw stuff like this.
There were a few similar projections, as well.
Not only that, but most House races on RCP's site don't even provide a poll to back up their projections. Even Alan Grayson's seat is ranked at Leans GOP, yet provides no evidence of it. I did a quick Google search, and found numbers saying something completely different for the allegedly Republican-leaning race.
Or a poll might be exaggerated. Democrat Frank Kratovil is shown trailing Republican Andy Harris by just three points. This is a toss-up being ranked as Lean GOP.
RealClearPolitics projects the Republicans retaking the House by twelve votes. I'm suspicious.
Maybe I'm just an idiot, maybe RealClearPolitics is another biased pollster. But all of this has left me thoroughly confused and less confident in RCP's polls.
