The Mudflats has a piece today on how joe miller, the teabagger endorsed by palin, is now "hemming, hawing" about the quid pro quo for sarah's delusional ambition, aka to become the amurikan prezinent in 2012.
The mudflats reports
As Alaska finds itself once again in the national political spotlight, it’s been interesting to watch how candidates are interacting (or not) with the former half-governor. She used to live in the realm of the political untouchables, with positive approval ratings approaching 90%. That was then and this is now. The latest numbers show her Disapproval ratings at 55% in Alaska. However unpopular she is in her home state, nationally it’s worse. Her disapproval rating is 65%, and her approval rating is a staggeringly low 17%, a statistical tie with BP.
So why does sarah love her some joe ?
He does spout the whole Tea Party line that the government is bad and too intrusive, unless of course it’s telling you who to marry, or what your teenage daughter who got raped has to handle her pregnancy. Then government is OK.
But more likely is the fact that Joe Miller stood a chance of toppling Palin’s least favorite thing, other than accountability – the Murkowski dynasty. And in fact, Miller did beat Murkowski in the GOP primary fair and square. This means that if Miller takes the seat, Palin will have an anointed one on the inside – an Alaskan Senator of her own making who will go to bat for her in 2012 when most people believe she’ll start her bid for the White House.
But what does joe, the insane teabagger, do ?
Joe Miller, who has been a regular lately on Fox News (which employs Palin as an occasional talking head) had an interesting conversation with Neil Cavuto the other day. Cavuto, after a discussion about how Republicans who don’t win their primaries but continue on as write-in candidates (cough cough Lisa Murkowski), turned the topic to Sarah Palin. Cavuto asks, "Would you support her for President?"
Here is Miller’s reply:
You know, we’ve been asked that question before. There are a number of great candidates out there... We have had a number of people who have introduced their names as potential candidates for 2012. Certainly, Palin is on the top of that ticket, you’ve got a number of folk that any one of which would be better than President Obama... But I will tell you this that this is not a race, you know, about Palin or Murkowski...
You notice that it took more than 78 words (before I gave up) to not say "Yes.

So, is the puppet trying to get away from its master ?
Don't give a chance for this poor wingnut teabagger to invite the wrath of that twit from tundras. Let's all show some love to joe and elect Scott McAdams to AK Sen to put joe out of his misery.
