Progressive, pro-choice Democrat and Lance Enderle has had a long, strange journey to get on the ballot this November (longer and stranger than just about any other candidate this year), but he's there now and isn't going to let Republican incumbent Mike "Let's Drill in the Great Lakes" Rogers win a 6th term without a fight.
Today, I'm pleased to announce that the Lance Enderle for Congress campaign has uploaded the first video ad. I'm calling it a video ad instead of a TV ad because, frankly, the campaign doesn't (yet) have enough money to buy broadcast time--but, thanks to the beauty of YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and, of course, the progressive blogosphere, we're hoping that you guys will do everything possible to give it (and Lance) as much exposure as possible.
(Of course, it'd be ideal if we could get it on MI-08 TV stations as well...to help with that, please feel free to donate a buck or two as well).
It's 1 minute long; if airtime proves to be feasible, we'll try and cut a 30-second version as well:
Constructive feedback appreciated.
In a related item, I'm also happy to announce that Lance's campaign has caught the attention of none other than Howie "Down With Tyranny" Klein, who asked Lance to put together a guest post for DWT, and has even honored Lance with a spot on the DWT ActBlue Page.

Update: Thanks for the feedback to everyone who's offered it so far; I'll forward your thoughts to the video/editing crew.
Meanwhile, I'm happy to report that Lance's guest essay on DWT has made it to the Huffington Post! I know there's plenty to criticize about HP's tone in recent months, but you can't deny that it's pretty good exposure for a campaign with such limited resources!
It would be awesome of some folks could go over to the HP link and post some positive comments on the version of the story there, to help keep it on the radar, thanks!
